Coherent IT Ltd was set up in 2001, and we’ve tried to stay true to our roots — a small, independent IT consultancy with no ties or preferences, allowing us to give the best advice and help we can. We’re based in Manchester — a great central location allowing us to help clients the length and breadth of the UK.

We’ve been in business for seven years now, so you know we have got staying power in a changing and competitive market. Our business experience goes back much farther though — we’ve been involved in computing and IT for close on twenty years and project management for nearly fifteen, so you know we have a depth of experience to draw upon. We were maintaining computer networks before the Internet existed, and working with email when paper letters were sometimes faster to arrive than an email! Over the years we have been employed by small companies and by large, and we’ve learned a lot of things and distilled them down — which we can now use for your benefit.

We know what our strengths are, but we also know our limitations — we don’t and can’t know everything. And we don’t pretend to. We pride ourselves in being honest with clients — if they ask something that’s outside our skillset we will happily tell you, and help you find someone best suited to your needs.
